Delivery Options

At BullionByPost we dispatch our customer orders with Royal Mail, UPS or DPD. We deliver all over the UK, as well as shipping to the Channel Islands of Jersey and Guernsey. Listed below are the delivery options at this time.

Our cut-off for dispatch with Royal Mail is 14:00. In order to qualify for same-day dispatch the order will need to be fully processed and approved by this time at the very latest. Any ID validation requirements may delay the dispatch of your parcel, and we advise ordering as early as possible if you require same-day dispatch.

Please note, we dispatch orders Monday to Friday only, orders placed after 14:00 on a Friday will not be dispatched until the following Monday at the earliest. Automated emails confirming the dispatch of your order(s) are typically sent at 19:00, Monday - Friday. Delivery Options & Estimated Delivery Times

Please note that any timeframes given below are estimates only. Tracking will be provided for orders over £150 in value, which will provide an estimated day of delivery.

Please note that any Next Day deliveries refers to the delivery speed, and will be subject to any dispatch delays communicated on the site. Orders placed on a Friday that qualify for Next (Working) Day Delivery may be received on either Saturday or Monday, depending on your local postal service.

For customers based in areas such as the Scottish Highlands, the Outer Hebrides, and other rural or remote areas, it may take longer to receive your order due to transport logistics.

UPS & DPD

Orders heavier than 1.8 KG will be sent via the UPS or DPD courier service. Typically this service is used for ordering large quantities of silver that surpass the weight limit for dispatches with the Royal Mail but not the value limit of our insurance.

For orders above the 1.8 KG limit we need to have received your funds by 12pm Midday in order to guarantee next day delivery. Please note that UPS and DPD will deliver any time between 8am and 8pm.

What if I'm not home to take delivery of my package?

Royal Mail: Deliveries by your local postal worker will typically be attempted by 1pm, though some local services can run until 9pm. Please note that 9am Guaranteed Delivery is not currently available.

We issue a tracking number to all customers receiving Next Day Delivery when Royal Mail collect from us of an evening. This will allow you to see where your package is at any given time. The dispatch and tracking email will be sent automatically at approximately 19:00 each evening.

In the event nobody is home to accept your delivery, a red card/slip will be left to indicate attempted delivery, or this will be communicated via your tracking page. The parcel will then be taken back to your nearest Sorting Office to await collection or re-delivery.

Courier: Deliveries by courier services such as UPS take place between 8am and 8pm weekdays. Orders are trackable, but the courier services cannot provide more accurate delivery details. If the courier is unable to hand the goods over to you they will try a further two times (consecutive days) before returning your order to us.
