2022 Queen Elizabeth II and King Charles III Commemorative Coin Range
The UK's longest reigning monarch, Queen Elizabeth II, passed away on Thursday 8th September 2022. To celebrate the life and service of the late queen, The Royal Mint has issued a range of coins in various weights and metals. The Elizabeth II Memorial coin range features three designs, with a tribute to Her Majesty on the reverse, and King Charles III on the obverse.
The coins will be the first official UK coins to feature the new effigy of His Majesty The King Charles III. Available in a range of sizes and metals, these coins are sure to be a must-own for any UK collector.

The Elizabeth II memorial Proof coin collection will centre around 3 different designs of coins:
50p - The commemorative 50p coin will be issued in various metals and sizes. The coin features a special reverse created for the 1953 coronation crown designed by herald painter Edgar Fuller and modelled by Cecil Thomas.
Crown - The commemorative Crown coin (£5) will feature a design by John Bergdahl and The Royal Mint, featuring dual images of Her Majesty from her reign.
Ounce Range - The ounce range will feature numerous sizes of troy ounce coins, with a special portrait of Her Majesty by John Bergdahl and The Royal Mint.
All of the coins feature the new King Charles III portrait on the obverse, and will be the only King Charles coins released in 2022. The Royal Mint have stated the majority of these coins will not have a mintage limit, to give customers the opportunity to buy these commemorative coins.
