These unusual silver coins are in fact shaped like bars, and are produced by The Perth Mint in Australia. Despite not being circular, the coins do bear Queen Elizabeth II's portrait on the obverse (front), as well as a legal tender face value, thus qualifying as coinage.

These coins are produced at 999.9 purity, just like their gold counterparts.
